Note générale : |
The writing of German scholar Max Weber helped form the basis of modern sociology, but his influence extends also into politics, religion, and economics. Dagmar Waters is the first female translator of Max Weber. Her husband, Tony Waters, is a professor of sociology at Chico State. Together they translated and edited four of Weber's essays for their book, including "Politics as Vocation," which was originally a lecture that Weber was invited to give to university students in 1919. |
